Is your organisation based within the Community Trust's Area of Benefit, or does it primarily serve people living within the Area of Benefit?

Is your organisation a not-for-profit group, charity, voluntary organisation, community group, school, or similar community body?

Does your organisation have a bank account in the organisation's name with appropriate financial controls in place?

Will your project directly benefit people living within the Area of Benefit?

Does your project support community wellbeing, education, recreation, culture, heritage, the environment, health, or other community-focused outcomes?

Is your project clearly defined with specific aims and objectives?

Have you calculated the total cost of the project and identified how the funding will be used?

Does your organisation have a governing document (such as a constitution, trust deed, or articles of association)?

Can you provide recent financial information or accounts if requested?

Is your organisation able to manage grant funding responsibly and maintain records of expenditure?

Have you identified any other funding sources for this project, where applicable?

Are you applying for a project that has not already been started?

Will any grant awarded be used solely for the purpose described in your application?

If your organisation works with children, young people, or vulnerable adults, do you have appropriate safeguarding policies and procedures in place?

Does your organisation comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements?

Can you provide any supporting documentation requested by the Community Trust?

Are you willing to provide feedback or a short report on how the grant funding was used if your application is successful?
